GCWSA Notice of Public Hearing - September 21, 2020

Greensville County Water & Sewer Authority received Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).

GCWSA wants to make the CRF Funds available to our customers that have experienced an economic hardship due to the COVID-19 crisis.  The eligibility dates are March 16, 2020 through September 15, 2020 as per the State Corporate Commission (SCC) Order on Moratorium CASE NO. PUR-2020-00048

Any customer who wishes to apply for the CRF Funds for credit on their GCWSA account must submit an application and must provide proof (VA Employment Commission Monetary Determination Form and/or Employer letter on official company letterhead to include effective dates) of the hardship with the application for review and determination of eligibility.  You can apply at

GCWSA customers that do not qualify for the CRF Funds are encouraged to contact the Customer Service Manager, Lois Powell, to set up a 12-month payment plan.  Customers who have entered into such extended payment plans shall not have their utility service cut off for non-payment of delinquent accounts as long as they are current on their extended payment plans.

Late payment penalties, will be applied to past due accounts as of September 22, 2020.

Past due utility payments must be paid in full or an extended payment plan must be in place by October 7, 2020.

Service disconnections for non-payment and reconnection fees will resume October 8, 2020

 Automatic Bank Account Draft - This service will automatically deduct utility payments from your bank account on the 10th of each month, thus saving you time and money.
It’s easy and free! Simply click on the link to download an Application for Automatic Draft Form.
The form must be printed, completed, signed and returned to our office, along with a voided check.
 Once enrolled, you will still be mailed a utility bill showing your balance due with note on bottom left indicating when automatic deduction will be made.
