Greensville County, Virginia is requesting proposals from qualified firms for recovery assistance in removing debris from within the County of Greensville resulting from a natural disaster.
Proposals must be received in the Office of the County Administrator, 1781 Greensville County Circle, Emporia, VA 23847 prior to 2:00 p.m., local prevailing time, on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. The envelope containing each proposal should be clearly identified on the outside as "Proposal for Recovery Assistance". Telefax proposals will not be accepted and no proposals will be accepted after 2:00 p.m., on October 29, 2019. Selection shall be made of two or more offerors deemed to be fully qualified and best suited, on the basis of the factors involved in the Request for Proposal. Negotitations shall then be conducted with each of the offerors so selected. Price shall be considered, but need not be the sole determining factor.
